Bob was born in 1938 and started his life as an "underground poet." He lives in Wisconsin and is described as eccentric. His first ventures into art were consctuctions of doll figures that stretched from floor to ceiling. They were made from trash found while searcing through people's trash cans. He had also done about 500 paintings, all of which was lost in a house fire. He now finds old paintings at garage sales and paints American Indians over what was there. In addition, he is making books filled with collages of his paintings, which have been cut into pieces, and photographs of women holding the paintings with the photographs cut into pieces, too.
